What People Are Saying about Pool Fence Fanatics

We could not have been happier with Fence Fanatics!! They were so easy to work with, gave us a quick and accurate quote, and made sure the finished product was exactly what we needed. We wanted an easy, removable safety option around our pool to help keep the littles safe. We worked together to come up with the perfect solution that still left the pool accessible and usable without taking up too much of our outside space.

I HAD AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!!!! HIRE THEM IMMEDIATELY. When I called Fence Fanatics, I got a live pickup (RARE! +1 point). They said a Professional Estimator would be out that afternoon at 3:00pm. At exactly 3:00pm, there was a knock at my door and there stood a clean, well kept, gentlemen (ONTIME, RARE! +2 points!). He looked at my project, gave me options, and helped me identify the best use of my money. I hired him on the spot. They showed up for the install as promised and finished on time and on budget (UNBELIEVABLE! +7 points!).

The average cost of an installed pool fence is $30 per liner foot. Materials impact the price. Mesh pool fences average $1,000 to $5,000.

  • Pool fencing is a negligible cost when compared to the price of installing a pool or the ongoing maintenance.

  • Our favorite pool fences are made of wrought iron. These pool fences create a clean, modern look. Some homeowners prefer mesh pool fences as they are typically easier to temporarily remove.

  • Sure, call us and we’ll be happy to provide a quote. If possible, measure where you would like to have the pool fence installed (at least 3’ from the edge of the pool) so that we can provide an exact quote.

  • We always carry extra materials for overages. If there are additional charges, we’ll discuss them with the homeowner onsite before installation begins.

  • Pool Fence Fanatics was created with one idea in mind: make it as easy and fast as possible for you to get a pool fence. We understand that pool fences are a safety issue and that’s why we’ve enabled a digital process from start to finish that begins with scheduling and ends with online purchasing.

  • Drowning is one of the top causes of accidental deaths in the US. Ten people – including two children 14 or younger – die from unintentional drowning every day (source: the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). Fatal drowning accidents often occur in privately owned swimming pools. Many states, including Texas, aim to prevent swimming pool accidents by implementing pool fence laws.

    • All swimming pools in Texas must have fences surrounding them that are at least 48 inches tall. These fences cannot be made of chain link, which a child could climb.

    • No swimming pool fence may have a gap at the bottom or vertical fence slats that are big enough to allow a ball that is four inches in diameter to pass through.

    • If a pool fence has both horizontal and vertical slats, all slat attachments must be on the inside of the fence, not the outside.

    • Swimming pool gates must be at least 48 inches tall and meet the same requirements as fences. They must be self-closing and self-latching, with the latch located on the inside of the gate. Gates must swing inward, away from the pool.

    • Any doors that lead to swimming pools must be self-closing and self-latching. The door also needs a keyless bolting device that is 36 to 48 inches off the floor.

    • If the wall of the house serves as one wall of the pool barrier, the door leading to the pool must be equipped with an alarm that sounds when the door is opened.

    • All above-ground swimming pools must abide by the same fencing and gate rules as in-ground pools in Texas to prevent unauthorized access.

  • A beautiful pool fence can definitely increase the attractiveness of your home. And, when presented to a buyer, a house with a pool fence has the potential to sell for more and at a higher price than it’s competitors as the prospective homeowner may recognize one less thing that must be done before moving in.

  • Our favorite pool fences are wrought iron. The designs a modern, sleek, and clean.

  • The longevity of a pool fence depends on the material used in construction.

    • Mesh pool fences are made made from the highest-quality material, are extremely strong and durable. The fabrics utilize a mildew resistant polyvinyl coating that provides years of use regardless of weather conditions. The poles are rust resistant. Mesh pool fences will last the lifetime of your pool.

    • Iron pool fences can last centuries if maintained properly. If the powder-coating of an iron pool fence is damaged, it must be repaired to protect the metal from rust.
